Robert Vennen

Dr. Robert Vennen is a valuable member of the Ark Animal Hospital team, bringing extensive expertise in delivering top-notch animal care. With a notable five-year tenure as a veterinarian at Riverlands Animal Hospital in LaPlace, Louisiana, Dr. Vennen's skills seamlessly complement the team.

Although his main veterinary interests are in surgery and preventive medicine, he truly enjoys all aspects of general practice, and he's eager to treat all pets. He continually increases his skill sets and knowledge base in ultrasound, dentistry and surgery through various Continuing Education courses, which he applies to clinical practice. 

One of his best attributes is that he can get along with almost anyone he meets. He has the ability to work well through long days and still maintain a sense of humor, and does not shy away from new challenges that come with providing excellent patient care.

Dr. Vennen's passion for surgical procedures and proactive health measures, especially in orthopedics, has greatly enriched his role at Ark Animal Hospital. 

When he’s not at the hospital, Dr. Vennen enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren, who is also a DVM, and his two beautiful daughters, Addison and Emma.
